Did you know that anyone age 12+ can get the COVID-19 vaccine free of charge? COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and the federal government is providing the vaccine free of charge to all people living in the United States, regardless of their immigration or health insurance status. If you have not already done so, click here to schedule your COVID-19 vaccination today or text your zip code to 438-829 to find a vaccination site near you.

Need help getting there? You can get a free ride to your vaccination appointment by using one of the options below:

2021-2022 school calendar and orientation

Check out our 2021-2022 school year calendar. Students will return to in-person learning five days a week starting on Thursday, Aug. 19. The 2021-2022 calendar does not include the intercession weeks that we had this year, but students will still have our traditional breaks and other holidays.

Orientation days for students entering pre-kindergarten and kindergarten will take place from August 9 - August 11. Contact your child’s school for more information.

Ready. Set. Summer! survey

We had so much fun with your students this summer! If you participated in our Ready. Set. Summer! programming, please take our voluntary student and family survey so we can learn more about your experience! Your responses will help us continue to improve our expanded learning programs during the summer and during the 2021-2022 school year. Reach out to your Summer Site Administrator if you have not received the survey link.

Early Childhood family block party

We are hosting our last Early Childhood block party for families interested in enrolling their child in pre-K or kindergarten! In addition to enrollment support, we will provide fun activities, free food, prize drawings, and a community resource fair. Join us this Saturday, July 31 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Robertson Elementary School (2721 W. 50th St.).

Visit the Tulsa Public Schools Early Childhood team enrollment support site to sign up for one-on-one enrollment support, or email your questions to earlychildhood@tulsaschools.org.
